KRU ANDREW "THE GENERAL"
KRU ANDREW'S STORY
Growing up with an unbridled energy and an innate passion for combat sports, our coach was destined for greatness in the world of martial arts. His journey began at a young age, and it was the first-ever UFC event that ignited a deep emotional and spiritual connection within him. This pivotal moment marked the start of an extraordinary path, one that would lead him to become a renowned figure in Muay Thai.

As he delved into MMA and Muay Thai training, it was the latter that truly captured his heart. The art of Muay Thai, with its rich history and demanding techniques, resonated deeply with him. His dedication and natural talent soon propelled him to the international stage, where he achieved a significant milestone in 2010 by capturing an international title under the CASK organization. This success not only highlighted his prowess as a fighter but also marked the beginning of his leadership role as team captain for the Canadian team.

As he transitioned from being a competitor to a coach, his passion for teaching and mentoring became evident. In 2014, he joined AMMA to share his expertise with a new generation of fighters. Over the years, he has trained some of the sport's top talents, guiding more than half a dozen champions to victory. His coaching legacy extends to creating professional fighters, including notable names like Hany, Thomas, and Ryan.

Today, with over two decades of experience and more than 30 amateur and professional titles under his belt, our coach continues to inspire and guide fighters to achieve their full potential. His story is a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and the transformative impact of Muay Thai on both body and mind.
